As a certified facilitator of Dr. Brené Brown’s Daring Way™ and Rising Strong™ programs, I’m pleased to offer the following:
The Daring Way™
The Daring Way™ is designed for work with individuals, couples, families, work teams, and organizational leaders. Brené Brown’s research revealed that we aspire to live from a place of authenticity and wholeheartedness. We will examine the thoughts, emotions, and behaviours that are holding us back, and identify new choices and practices that will move us toward living our lives with greater self-compassion and appreciation. Ready to Show Up, Be Seen, Live Brave™? Ready to move beyond comparison, and embrace the freedom of being authentically you? During the process, we will deepen self awareness by exploring topics such as courage, vulnerability, worthiness and shame resilience.
Rising Strong™ was created by Dr. Brené Brown and is based on the physics of vulnerability: If we are brave enough, often enough, we will fall. If we dare enough and care enough, we will experience disappointment and failure. Rising Strong™ is about what it takes to get back up, and how owning our stories of struggle gives us the power to write a daring new ending. Struggle can be our greatest call to courage. This unique curriculum is designed to guide participants through reckoning with emotion, and rumbling with the challenges that come with living an authentic life. When we become clear about where we are and how we got there, we are in a place to chart a courageous new path toward wholehearted living.

You: Through the Lens of the Medicine Wheel
As a former nurse, I co-created and piloted a girl’s empowerment group based on the wisdom of the medicine wheel. It was a huge success and became a template program for other Aboriginal communities. I used the medicine wheel for personal inquiry during a time when I was at a crossroads. The medicine wheel is used by many indigenous cultures and is a helpful guide on life’s journey. It offers insight for reflection and future planning based on the four quadrants – physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual.

You will discover the tools to become empowered and start creating life ON PURPOSE!
You will be engaged in lively discussions, practice energizing techniques, challenge your thinking through workbook exercises.

This inspirational presentation is co-presented by me and my son Dalton, who at one time held multiple national records in Paralympic swimming.
